Brian Roberts better watch his back.

Former St. John's standout L.J. Hoes continues to impress in Minor Leagues as the Baltimore Orioles' prospect was promoted to the Bowie Baysox Monday, which is part of the Double-A Eastern League. Hoes, who hit .289 in 60 games for Frederick and .464 in eight games for Aberdeen, didn't waste any time making an impact.

Hoes went 2 for 5 in his Bowie debut, singling twice, knocking in one run and scoring another in a 10-5 victory over Akron.

Hoes was drafted in the third round in the 2008 Major League draft. He is ranked 21st in 2010's Baseball America rankings...
