The UConn men’s basketball program secured a commitment from four-star recruit Eric Reibe on Wednesday. Reibe, a 7-foot center, is UConn’s second Class of 2025 recruit. He joins 6-5 wing Darius Adams, who committed two weeks ago.
Ranked 33rd in the nation by 247Sports.com and 23rd overall by ESPN. He will join the Huskies next season, replacing Samson Johnson on the roster.

Where’s he from?
Reibe, born June 29. 2006, is a native of Germany. He enrolled at the Bullis School in Potomac, MD in January 2023 and began picking up college offers last year during the summer.
He also played for the German National team in the U16 European Championship. He led Germany to championship over Finland in 2022. In 2023, Reibe led the Germans to the bronze medal in FIBA’s U18 EuroBasket and was named Player of the Game.
