Jalyn Collingwood, a 6-foot-5 wing ranked among the top 100 prospects in the national class of 2026, committed to Mississippi State on Thursday, live on the CBS Sports College Basketball Channel.
Collingwood chose the Bulldogs from a list of finalists that also included Michigan State and Ohio State. He took official visits to check out the Bulldogs, Spartans, and Buckeyes, along with Texas Tech, this fall. He had a fifth visit scheduled to Vanderbilt for this coming weekend, which was ultimately cancelled.
Collingwood stars at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., and played his grassroots basketball for New World on the 3SSB circuit, where he averaged 11 points per game.
