The Virginia Tech Hokies are capping off a big recruiting weekend with some good news. Earlier Sunday, Irmo High School (South Carolina) quarterback AJ Brand pledged to the Hokies, becoming Tech’s second quarterback in the 2025 class, following Kelden Ryan (DeSoto, Texas).
As it turns out, head coach Brent Pry and the Hokies weren’t done. DeMatha (Maryland) linebacker Noah Chambers, fresh off an official visit to Blacksburg, pledged to Virginia Tech.
The 6-foot-2, 216-pound Chambers chose the Hokies over in-state Maryland, Pittsburgh, Boston College and others. Chambers joins current Hokies cornerback Dante Lovett and defensive tackle Emmett Laws as DeMatha players going to Virginia Tech. Tech’s top 2024 signee, linebacker Gabriel Williams, is also from that part of Maryland and congratulated Chambers on choosing the Hokies.
