College football recruiting: Top 15 prospects in Maryland for 2023 class

The 2023 recruiting cycle is heating up with just two months remaining until the Early Signing Period as some of the top players around the country are revealing their college plans. With that in mind, we have decided to check in on the top recruits in the state of Maryland.

Maryland is home to six four-star prospects in the country for the 2023 class. That group includes four players ranked inside the Top247, headlined by the No. 4 defensive lineman in the class. Fourteen of the top 15 prospects in Maryland have already announced their respective commitments, while just one is still undecided on where they will play in college.

Twelve college football programs have at least one commitment from a top-15 prospect in the state. Boston College and South Carolina lead the way with two commits among that group, while Duke, Georgia Tech, LSU, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, USC and Virginia Tech each have one.
