The Tigers are meeting a team from Maryland this week in DeMatha Catholic that has made some history of its own. The Stags have a storied head coach and no shortage of Division I college recruits on the roster.
Here are some interesting notes on the DeMatha program and a look at the top players from the team set to play at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium on Friday.
You’d be hard pressed to find a head coach with more solid credentials than Bill McGregor. McGregor has posted an incredible 315 career wins. He became just the fourth high school head coach in Maryland history to surpass 300 wins when he accomplished that feat in 2022. McGregor has also helped more than 375 players earn Division I college scholarships as head coach at DeMatha.
