Maryland football continued its local hot streak Saturday, picking up a commitment from receiver Sean Williams.
The St. John’s (D.C.) product is ranked as the No. 163 wide receiver in the country and No. 6 player out of Washington D.C. in the Class of 2023, per 247Sports. Last season as a junior, he caught 32 passes for more than 700 yards and six touchdowns.
Williams had a solid offer list including Cincinnati, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech and more. He took a recent midweek visit to College Park and committed, opting not to visit Wake Forest this weekend ahead of the dead period.
