Neeo Avery is an Ole Miss Rebel. After the four-star, 2023 edge spent the weekend in Oxford, he pulled the trigger to the Rebels on Sunday. The 6-5, 230-pounder is rated as the No. 33 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 6 player in the state of Maryland’s 2024 class.
Avery’s commitment caps off a huge weekend for Ole Miss on the defensive line. On Friday, the Rebels landed a commitment from 2023 edge Jamarious Brown out of Moss Point (Miss.) High School. Brown, a four-star prospect, is rated as the No. 28 edge in the nation and the No. 5 player in the state of Mississippi.
“I came down here to let you know I’m committing,” said Avery. “Locked in. I love the energy down here. The people. It’s a great to place to be.”
