      everal local football players are hoping to hear their named called during this month’s NFL Draft, including Mohamed Ibrahim. The running back is hoping and ready to fulfill his NFL dreams,

      “I’m anxious. I got a lot of scenarios that go through my head. I’m kind of in a fantasy land just going through. What if I come back home? What if I go out west? What if I go out outdoors? It’s different scenarios that go through your head, but I’m excited.”
      The 5’8, 203lbs back honed his skills at Good Counsel High School in Montgomery County.

      “A lot of talent in this region. You kind of leave the state go other places. You know, I went to Minnesota, you always brag about, who came out of your area, stuff like that. We got we got a lot of talent coming out the area. As you can see in this draft, you know, we got 15-20 people coming out of the area. We’re all still connected. So, the area’s rich and in talent.”

      Ibrahim spent his years at the Olney school playing in the touted Washington Catholic Athletic Conference, under the legendary Hall of Fame head coach Bob Milloy.
