Cardinal Newman football is down another offensive weapon as athlete Tovani Mizell packs his bags for new beginnings in Maryland.
Citing “job opportunities” as the reason for his family’s move up north, Mizell shared with The Post that he will be transferring to DeMatha Catholic High School (Hyattsville, MD) on Tuesday afternoon.
It’s an additional offseason loss for Newman after former quarterback Davi Belfort transferred to Dillard (Miami) in December.
