DeMatha Football to Play Holy Spirit (NJ)
Although the 2020 football season appears to be over before it started for the WCAC, some programs have started to schedule their 2021 opponents. DeMatha will take on Holy Spirit High School football team on Saturday, August 28th in the Battle at the Beach showcase at Carey Stadium on the campus of Ocean City High School in New Jersey.
The game is tentatively scheduled to be played on ESPNU. In total, there will be nine teams from Maryland, South Jersey and Pennsylvania competing from August 27-29. The full schedule is not out yet.
Holy Spirit (8-0) finished undefeated in 2020, and the event is being sponsored by the the West Jersey Football League Coaches Association (WJFLCA).
