In College Park Friday evening, the lady terrapins defeated the lady Hawkeyes 3-1 at the Xfinity Pavilion. The terrapins was lead by Erika Pritchard (Middletown HS) with 15 kills and 3 blocks. Oxon Hill hs graduate Rainelle Jones recorded 6 kills and 8 blocks, while Cara Lewis (Bowie HS) recorded 9 blocks and 3 kills. Maryland would sweep Iowa 3-0 on Saturday evening as well. UMD next match is an away matchup against Illinois.
